The previous YES site contained a privacy policy. This page is a reconstruction framework and should be reviewed by YES before launch, particularly because applications may involve student/minor information.
Information we may collect
Name, class, school, parent/guardian contact details, email, phone, application information and documents only where required for a defined YES service.
How information should be used
Information should be used to process enquiries/applications, communicate with applicants and administer the scholarship program. It should not be sold.
Children and guardian consent
Where applicants are minors, the live application flow should include appropriate parent/guardian consent and age-appropriate notices.
Security & retention
YES should apply reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards and retain information only for as long as necessary for the stated purpose or legal obligations.
