ONLINE ESSAY 2020

The global pandemic of COVID-19 has compelled governments all over the world to close educational institutions, and As per estimate about 1.5 billion students must currently remain at home.
This critical, complex, and the unprecedented situation is having major impacts on our societies. Young people, just like everyone else, will face the economic and social consequences of this crisis for many years to come and have no doubt begun to develop their own thoughts about the future they want after the coronavirus fades away.

OBJECTIVE OF YES ESSAY 2020
The objective of essay writing competition is to give students the opportunity demonstrate their reading, thinking and writing skills in a well connected and compact manner

ELIGIBILITY & ENTREE FEES

This competition is open to all students from Classes 1 to 12 studying in any school in India

SUBMISSION RULES & PROCEDURE


  • Upload your essay at below link in jpg, png, pdf format: https://forms.gle/N9mRDKEqFviSyBoh8
  • Submit at essay@yesscholarship.com in (jpg, png or Pdf) format with the subject titled as, TITLE OF ESSAY: NAME OF AUTHOR(S) & CLASS
  • Only original essays will be considered for the competition. Previously published essays are therefore excluded. Any form of plagiarism will result in disqualification of the essay
  • The essay must be written in English/Hindi
  • The Essay should be of a minimum of 1500 words not exceeding more than 3000 words (excluding footnotes).
  • The entries will be evaluated based on the structure, facts, insights, creativity, and language.

SCORING OF THE ESSAY

While assessing the documents the weightage would be given as below

  • Originality and clarity of the content
  • Quality of the analysis and research
  • Language and Structure of the essay
  • Grammar, syntax and form Copyright
  • All the essays submitted shall be the exclusive property of Organizers.
  • Organizers shall be free to use the information/ views therein in any manner it requires.
  • Organizers shall not be responsible for any essay(s) not received. No essay shall be entertained if received after the deadline.
  • The decision of Organizers in deciding the winner(s) shall be final and binding and NO query, correspondence, etc. in this regard shall be entertained by the Organizers.
  • Laws of India with the jurisdiction of courts at Delhi shall apply to this competition.

  • eCertificate of Participation to all the Participants, who submit their entry
  • The first, second & third winning essay will be published in YES Website, all social media account of YES.
  • The first, second & Third winners will get free enrollment in YES Scholarship 2020.

TERM & CONDITIONS

  • "Participants" shall be enrolled only for the current academic session, in the Class group of 1st to 12th of the ICSE, CBSE or State Board Schools in India. All Participants must seek their parents' / guardians' approval before participating in the Contest.
  • It will be the responsibility of parents/guardians to monitor their child's participation in this Exam.
  • The YES exam can be attempted by students who are citizens of India and is open to students pan India from Affiliated ICSE, CBSE, and State Board schools.
  • Employees and Immediate Family of the "Organizing Company" YES/Dhavani Welfare Association and its associated companies will not have the right to participate in this YES Exam.
  • YES Team reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and participants (including a participant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any participant for any reason including, but not limited, to unfair practices, or use of malicious/illegitimate codes or not - adherence to these Terms and Conditions.
  • If two or more candidate gets same score then, those candidate will be selected who scored higher in G.k.
  • All Valid and complete registrations received will be selected for the YES Exam.
